AURORA, Ore. - Betty Boop isn't just a fashionable cat, she's recovering from surgery! Ms. Boop was a stray cat in Portland. A good Samaritan found her with a rat trap stuck to her paw, and brought her to Meow Village in Aurora. Veterinarians were able to determine she was ten years old, but severely underweight for her age at just five pounds. They removed the rat trap, but Betty Boop was left with a severe injury, which was needed to remove part of her bone.
