Iwao Yamamura (山村巌 Yamamura Iwao) is a fisherman who runs the village's liquor seller and the father of Miwa Yamamura. Yamamura is a very proud man he loves fishing and/or anything sea related, and himself. He seems to have a god complex, during episode four he makes Seishuu Handa write his boat name as"Yuigadokuson-Maru" meaning "I am Holy" or "I am God".
